Die hinteren Halter sind mit einem gleitfähigen Polypropylenbelag beschichtet, der es ermöglicht, das Boot mit sehr geringem Kraftaufwand auf den Halter zu schieben. Der Bootsrumpf ist durch weiche Gummipuffer voll geschützt und kann durch die mitgelieferten Gurte befestigt werden. Diese sind im Lieferumfang des Kajak- und Kanuhalters 561 enthalten.
